British comic actor Norman Wisdom, died Monday at the age of 95, his family said. He is famous for his slapstick film roles in his trademark cloth cap and ill-fitting jacket.
Wisdom passed away in a nursing home on the Isle of Man, in the Irish Sea off Britain's northwest coast, after suffering a series of strokes in recent months.
His family paid tribute to a "much loved father and grandfather. "
"Over the last six months Norman has sustained a series of strokes causing a general decline in both his physical and mental health," said a family statement.

Russell Brand Returns To Radio
It’s been a year since the “Sachsgate” scandal which saw Russell Brand unceremoniously booted from the BBC for leaving rude messages on Andrew Sachs’ answering machine. Russell Brand announced that he is preparing to make his return to radio.
Brand will helm a show on Talk Sport expected to start later this month. The programme will be produced by former Radio 2 controller Lesley Douglas – the woman who was instrumental in originally bringing Brand to the BBC.
The Saturday evening show is currently scheduled to last 20-weeks and will feature regular Brand collaborators Noel

Oscar-nominated, Tony Curtis, died Wednesday night at his home in Nevada. He was 85. The judge in the Anna Nicole Smith drug conspiracy case acquitted her boyfriend-lawyer Howard Stern on Wednesday of two charges of obtaining drugs for her by fraud and deceit including use of false names.
Superior Court Judge Robert Perry also dismissed part of a conspiracy count against Stern and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, ruling there was insufficient proof that the two men conspired to obtain controlled drugs through fraud and deceit.
Perry allowed the balance of that conspiracy charge to stand and ruled the bulk of the 11-count complaint would go to the jury for a decision.
